My journey into the heart of the Sumatran rainforest led me to the Mentawai tribe, a community deeply connected to their ancestral ways, seemingly untouched by the modern world. Living alongside them, cut off from outside influence, was an immersive experience unlike any other. From the vibrant energy of shamanic ceremonies to the quiet rhythm of daily life, I documented their culture with my camera, capturing the essence of their traditions, their connection to nature, and the enduring spirit of this remarkable people. It was a privilege to witness and preserve a glimpse into a world so beautifully distinct.
